From bare steel
to the starting grid
Mavericks Racing was born in 2016 as the brainchild of Mechanical Engineering students at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology. We started with Formula Imperial and SAE Baja. Today we design, build and race an electric formula-style car at Formula Bharat.
Students from engineering and non-technical backgrounds run the team like a small race operation: CAD in the evenings, fabrication at weekends, testing whenever the workshop is free.
